Terms & Conditions

Payment:

50% of the full payment is due before work will begin on any projects. Upon completion of the project the remaining balance is due before delivery of any files or printed material. The full cost of the project can include but is not limited to, hourly rates for graphic design work, package pricing, printing costs, shipping and handling as well as any specialized tooling, supplies or equipment that is needed.

Custom Quotes:

Custom projects are quoted using a standard $150.00 charge. Projects requiring more than 1 hour of graphic design work will be quoted at $75.00 per hour for every hour after the first hour.

Projects requiring assembly work will be subject to a minimum $150.00 charge which covers the first 5 hours of labor. Projects requiring more than 5 hours of assembly will be subject to a $15.00 per hour charge for every hour after the
first 5 hours.

Rough to Final:

Clients are entitled to unlimited revisions provided that the time required for these revisions is less than 1 hour’s worth of graphic design time. Clients that require revision time that exceeds the 1 hour limit, are subject to a $75.00 per hour graphic design charge for every hour, after the first hour.

The following file types are the types that Paper & Ink Designs is able to work with and provide to our clients.

• .cdr
• .eps
• .jpg
• .pdf
• .psd
• .tif

Supported Programs:

Paper & Ink Designs is able to work with a wide variety of computer applications. Currently Macintosh applications are not supported, although many Macintosh files are able to be opened and worked with on the PC.

Printing:

Paper & Ink Designs allows clients to use their own printers whenever they wish to do so. We do offer printing services. Depending on the type and size of the job, Paper & Ink Designs will use one of 3 different printing vendors. Quotes for printing will be provided upon the client’s request. If no request for printing is made, Paper & Ink Designs will assume that the client is handling the printing on their own.

After Final Approval:

After the final approval and delivery of a project, that project is considered complete. If the client requests further work on the finished project the client is subject to a minimum $75.00 charge.

Rights to Artwork:

After the final approval and delivery of a project the client is given the rights to the artwork. The client may obtain copyright protection on any slogans or wording used in the project as well as trademark protection for the artwork. Paper & Ink Designs reserves the right to use any of the artwork and or wording for the purpose of promoting Paper & Ink Designs without infringing on any of the rights obtained by the client as well as without incurring any royalty charges.
