I’ve
had a feeling throughout my life that I had the
creative gene. I loved getting a new box of Crayola
crayons, the sharp points, the smell, the bright
colors. I loved the smelly markers we used in art
class, strawberry, cinnamon, and apple. That love
carried through high school, painting sets for |
many
plays and musicals, taking numerous art classes, and doing
small design projects for friends and family. At the end
of my high school career, I realized that I wanted to
do something with art, so I put my passion for creativity
with my new found love, the computer.
Graphic design seemed to be the most
logical route to take. I ended up attending Grand Valley
State University in Allendale, MI for graphic design.
I graduated in December of 2003 with a Bachelors of
Art in Art and Design with an emphasis in graphic design.
I want to create an identity, whether
it be for business or a special occasion, that will
have a lasting impression. So be different by design.
